DOORS

Premium full overlay door styles with soft-close door hinges.  Stained doors are solid hardwood and painted doors are MDF.

PANELS

Constructed from 1/2” plywood with option for finished ends.  Ends, tops and bottoms are captured in frame grooves.  Backs are captured in end panel grooves.

SHELVES (not shown)

Constructed from 3/4” plywood and finished on both sides.  Base shelves are half-depth adjustable at 2 1/2” increments.  All secured for shipment with locking shelf clips utilizing 1/4” diameter dowel.

HINGES

6-way fully concealed 108° self-closing cup hinges that allow easy height, width, and depth adjustment are standard.

CABINET INTERIOR

Sealed with clear-coat finish.  Finished Interior option may be selected on wall, base and tall cabinets up to 24” deep.

BACKS

For ease of installation, the backs are solid 1/2” plywood.  Base cabinet backs extend to the floor providing optional structural stability.

DRAWERS

EuroBoxes are 5/8” thick hardwood plywood with dowel construction.  Option to upgrade to dovetail construction.  Both options are clear coated and bottoms are fully captured plywood.  Glides are under mount, full extension soft-close.

TOE KICKS

Constructed from 1/2” unfinished plywood.  They are inset into the cabinet box 3 1/2” and are 4 1/2” high.  Toe Kick Material (TKS) is required to finish the toe kick space.

ROLL OUT TRAY & PILASTER KIT (optional)

EuroBox (standard) or dovetail upgrade option for roll out tray box with undermount glides.  Pilasters are installed at each corner of base cabinet (pantries get 2 sets of pilaster kits) with slots for approximate 1” height adjustments.

IN THE DETAILS

After hand-selecting prime pieces of wood, carefully placed laser cuts eliminate defects to optimize each plank’s characteristic beauty. The difference is visible in the way the woodgrain patterns match from panel to panel. See the beauty of our woods and finishes firsthand.

Thicker, Stronger.  Feel the substantial weight of our drawer boxes. We construct our own using beautiful white hardwood—not plywood like many do—in 5/8″ instead of the typical 1/2″ boards. Sturdy bottom reinforcement on wider drawers prevents sagging.

Soft Close.  Smoother glides on silent, durable cushioned tracks. Made to be used. Made for easy removal and cleaning. Made to last.

English Dovetail Joints.  Details that require precision handwork like the pretty dovetail joints on our drawers provide uncommon strength and durability to stand firm to daily use—and look nice, too.

Edges That Aren’t Really Edges.  Each drawer box is built, then sanded flush and routed to lend the softest, loveliest look you’ll likely ever see in a drawer—so smooth we can’t really call them edges.

A hallmark of true craftsmanship. Panels on Bremtown cabinetry are so tight flush you almost can’t tell they’re separate pieces of wood. Our technique involves machine compression that lets us dial in the pressure for an exact fit.

All of our pieces, all surfaces, undergo the extra effort of both machine- and hand-sanding. Machine-sanding for consistency across panels and hand-sanding for true craft quality. The effect is unbelievably smooth. And prepares the way for an amazing paint or stain finish.

Look at the finish, because that’s not a place to start skimping. Precisely why we take such a careful craftsman’s approach. Not just anyone is qualified to do this—but our experienced artisans have been at it for a minimum of 15 years perfecting the process: picking the finest hardwoods, properly preparing them, and using top-shelf finish material in a meticulous multi-step hand application.

Splendor Takes More Time. We hand-sand and hand-rub topcoat layers in whatever artful recipe yields the custom finish we’re after with each customer request. Creative application of dyes, stains, glazes, and paints creates a depth, clarity, and richness unique to Bremtown cabinetry, which we dial in to a benchmark prototype to consistently duplicate across all pieces in your cabinetry suite.

Limitless Choices.  Using this process, we’ve built a library of more than 100 custom finishes and counting. If you don’t find the exact one that captivates you, we’ll create #101 for you.
